Sure, we’re always excited for a Cole Sprouse movie. I mean, Suite Life forever – am I right? The thing is though, as excited as we always are for Cole Sprouse, we’re more excited that Lisa Frankenstein is Zelda Williams directorial debut. We love, love her and her activism for mental health and the protection of her fathers legacy.
Lisa Frankenstein is billed as a fun, campy movie. It stars Kathryn Newton, Carla Gugino and Cole Sprouse. Could it get any better than a director that we love and a cast that is fantastic.
The answer is yes.
There is the fact that the script was written by Diablo Cody and well, that means that it’s going to be good!
Here’s a synopsis: A coming of RAGE love story from acclaimed writer Diablo Cody about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse. After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.
Lisa Frankenstein will hit theaters just ahead of Valentine’s Day, on February 9th!
