If you aren’t listening to Kelsea Ballerini, you are definitely missing out on one of the greatest singers of our time. The country superstar is relatable, writes amazing songs, and really just exudes joy.
We love joy.
She recently had an appearance on Call Her Daddy and spoke with the podcasts amazing host, Alexandra Cooper. If you listen to Call Her Daddy, you know that Cooper isn’t afraid to ask anything. She makes sure that as a listener you’re going to walk away with an amazing interview.
Coopers catch up with Ballerini gave us insight to her relationship with Chase Stokes.
When talking about Stokes she said, “He’s like the most emotionally intelligent man I’ve ever met in my life.”
She continued, “I keep telling him he’s a man written by a woman ’cause he was raised by his mom, and he’s very close with his sister. He’s just so in tune with his emotions and is not afraid to be vulnerable.”
We love that insight to who Stokes is and their relationship. We’re big believers that a person should be vulnerable in a relationship and there should be open communication.
We’re all about the simple things. The simple things make the relationship. So when Cooper asked about what Ballerini’s favorite thing about Stokes was, we thought her answer was too perfect.
“He got my windows tinted for me,” Ballerini said.
Kelsea didn’t know it was happening. When she left town to work on her next album (can’t wait to hear that by the way) he had it done. When she recalled the moment she said, “I got home, and my Jeep had the windows tinted. And he was just, like, ‘Yeah, you need to be safe. I want you to be safe.’”
That’s really damn romantic. We love these two together.
