It’s very hard to get attached to shows these days because, when you do, they get canceled. If they aren’t getting canceled, your favorite characters are leaving. It feels like getting attached to anything means that you are inevitably going to be inevitably hurt. We’re definitely feeling that with FBI: International.
It was announced that FBI: International star Heida Reed, who has portrayed Special Agent Jamie Kellett, since the shows premiere in 2021, will be leaving the show early in season three. Neither she, nor Wolf Entertainment, had any comment about her departure from the show.
Deadline is reporting that they have heard that it is for creative reasons.
FBI: International is the third iteration of the successful FBI franchise, following the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team. Headquartered in Budapest, they travel the world with the mission of tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens wherever they may be. Not allowed to carry guns, the Fly Team members rely on intelligence, quick thinking and pure brawn as they put their lives on the line to protect the U.S. and its people.
Kellett is second-in-command to the Head of the International FBI Fly Team unit, agent Scott Forrester, play by Luke Kleintank.
Also starring in the show is Carter Redwood, Vinessa Vidotto, Eva-Jane Willis and Christina Wolfe.
The third season of FBI: International premieres Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2024 on CBS.
