We happen to love for Jennifer Lawrence that she was interviewed by Kylie Jenner, knowing what a big fan of the Kardashians that she is. The actress spoke with Kylie for Interview Magazine and well, we admit that it’s something that we enjoyed reading.
The two discussed having security for their kids. Kylie said that she hadn’t hired security until she got pregnant. But Jennifer asked her how her kids handled security.
Kylie said, “Stormi is very familiar with them, which I feel comfortable with. She actually has a lot of love for them. I just tell my security to not make it so serious, so they have a good relationship. I’m trying to figure it out too because I never had security growing up, so I don’t know what that’s like, but I try to make it as normal and friendly as possible.”
We love that Kylie’s kids are familiar with their security. In our opinion it makes it more normal and less like they have to hide from them. Having an honest relationship, makes it easier for a child to trust and tell an adult in their life that they need something.
And we all know that parents and well, security guards don’t see everything.
Jennifer went on to talk about her security. She said that when she had hired security, she had intended for them to be “invisible,” but hey, that didn’t send the right message. Have to admit that she recognized that it didn’t send the right message.
“Yeah, friendly is nice because before I hired them, in my mind I was like, I want them to be invisible. I don’t want my kid to see you or know you. And then once they start working for you, it’s like, ‘Well, wait. This is a person in our life. He’s helping us,'” Lawrence said.
She continued by adding, “That’s not really a good lesson to ignore the person that’s helping us. It’s probably better to say, ‘Say good morning to Sean. Hi. How are you?’ We’ve incorporated them more in our lives, which surprised me.'”
It may not have been how Jennifer planned it, but we love that these two superstars appreciate their security and their security for their kids. Sad that they have to have it, but in todays world, it is the right thing to do.
