We all have moments in our lives that we can’t believe happened. That’s not a bad thing all of the time. Some moments change us and make us feel like we’re living a pinch me moment. For Sabrina Carpenter, one of those moments was the day that she found out that she was going on tour with Taylor Swift.
And how she found out was just too cute and shows the type of person Taylor is. She’s not going to make a moment cold and stale. She’s going to make you be able to remember the moments in life and be able to celebrate the memories. Taylor Swift is just a great human being.
Sabrina Carpenter was recently interviewed on Grammy.com and talked about when she found out that she was going on tour with Taylor.
“There were a lot of emojis and exclamation points,” she recalled of finding out that she was going on tour with Taylor via text message. “That was really how it happened; it wasn’t through managers or anything. When Taylor texted me and asked if I wanted to come on tour with her, I threw my phone across the room.”
She continued, “It’s a really surreal thing. I covered one of her songs when I was 9 years old and definitely, throughout my life, she was an artist and a songwriter and businesswoman who I’ve always admired. So to call her a friend and be a part of something as iconic as this tour, I still can’t process it.”
We wouldn’t be able to handle it. We would be dead from excitement if this happened to us. But alas, we have no musical talent, so don’t see that one happening.
