Chicago P.D. 11×05 Preview: “Split Second”

Chicago P.D. 11×05 “Split Second” is our first Kevin Atwater episode of Season 11, and honestly, we need to do something about the character-specific episodes. LaRoyce Hawkins is just too good for the show to only focus on him two or three episodes a season, at most. And then there’s the fact that, since he hasn’t really had a sustained romantic relationship in a few seasons and we haven’t gotten to focus on his friendships inside the unit for a while either, all we get in his character-specific episodes is …well, the same.

Just like Dante. The POC are used to showcase stories about POC and that’s about it.

We’re kind of tired. We want to see more of Kevin and his family, Kevin and Kim — Kevin and Makayla, Kevin and Adam, or Kevin and Hayley right before she leaves!! We might get some Kevin and Dante, but even that will probably be in service of the “plot,” which is not what we want. Just, anything but what we’re getting would be good, okay?
