Ok, we didn’t think that we’d drool over pictures this hard, but when it comes to them being of Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx in a movie together, we should have known better.
Because here we are. We’re sitting here and we don’t remember the last time that we’ve been this excited for a movie. Netflix released the first pictures from the upcoming film, Back in Action.
You know that we’re going to be obsessed, because we love movies that are CIA or FBI or anything that feels like Mr. & Mrs. Smith (but cooler, and not the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie version). The movies logline teases that we’re going to get something just like that.
The logline? Well, “Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily and Matt find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown.”
Give us all the action.
In addition to Foxx and Diaz, Back in Action stars, Kyle Chandler, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Jamie Demetriou, McKenna Roberts, and Rylan Jackson. Directed by Seth Gordon, the movie premieres on Netflix, November 15th, 2024.
