Lately Hollywood is acting like Target. They aren’t asking what you need, they are telling you. You see the announcements of projects and of castings and suddenly everything makes sense.
Hollywood gives you adaptations or castings that make everything make sense. Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz in a movie together definitely make sense. Zoë Kravitz is in talks to join Darren Aronofsky’s movie, Caught Stealing. This casting has been “caught stealing” our attention.
Aronofsky is set to direct the adaptation of the book by Charlie Huston for Sony. Huston wrote the script adaptation of his book.
Now, what’s it about? Well, we had to look this s**t up because well, we haven’t read it. Won’t read it either, but definitely will watch this adaptation. After all Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz in a movie together, like we said, you have our attention. So though it’s unknown who Kravitz would play, we do know that the movie is about a washed up, burnt out, ex-baseball player who gets caught up in the criminal underworld of New York City in the 1990’s.
Not smart baseball player dude Hank Thompson. You should walk away (actually run) from danger – especially in New York City.
We’re seated. We’re paying attention. Give us all the information. We will be watching.
