I had the pleasure of interviewing Doug (along with David Ajala) back in April ahead of Discovery’s fifth and final season. It was wonderful to be able to follow up with him to ask about his time on Discovery, Mr. Saru’s positive masculinity, his legacy, and who he would like to play in another iteration of Star Trek. Doug is an incredibly sweet man and a delight to interview.
