You know the jokes that start with “so and so walk into a bar”? That’s what we felt like when we heard the title of this movie. It’s entitled, ‘4 Kids Walk Into A Bank,’ and is set to star Talia Ryder, Noah Jupe, Whitney Peak, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Deacon Phillippe. Also in talks to star is Liam Neeson.
The movie is about an ex-bank robber named Danny. Danny’s old crew has informed him that he owes them and to make amends, he needs to pull off a job. But his grand daughter doesn’t want him to have to do it, so she turns to her ride or die friends to rob the day before her grand father is supposed to. This way, he doesn’t have to.
This movie sounds like something we’d watch, because we love a movie that sounds like it’s gonna be a lot of action with a family dynamic built in
Liam Neeson, we’re definitely going to need you to do this. We love Taken and it feels like you would be perfect to star in this movie. We can see your character coming in quick to save your grand daughter from making a big mistake.
The movie will be directed by Frankie Shaw (SMILF) and is adapted from the graphic novel by Matthew Rosenberg and Tyler Boss. Matt Robinson wrote the script with revisions from Frankie Shaw.
Theres some pretty big money behind the film – Eric Feig’s Picturestart. Seth Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures and Black Mask Studios will also produce. The film is at the TIFF market and we’re hoping that the entire proposed cast signs on because it’s something we would watch.
