Apple TV+ hosted a photocall with the cast of the new Spanish-language medical drama series Midnight Family (Familia de medianoche in Spanish) and we have the best photos! Ready to take a look?
Here we go!
After the first look of Midnight Family, we were curious about these new names who are going to be the talk of the industry; so we’re happy to see stars Renata Vaca, Diego Calva and Joaquín Cosío pose for photos ahead of the global debut of the series, which premieres on Wednesday, September 25 with the first two episodes, followed by one episode every Wednesday through November 20, 2024.
As we saw in the trailer, the series follows Marigaby Tamayo (Renata Vaca), an ambitious and gifted medical student by day, who spends her nights saving lives throughout a sprawling, contrasted and fascinating Mexico City aboard her family’s privately owned ambulance.
Along with her father Ramón (Joaquín Cosío) and her siblings Marcus (Diego Calva) and Julito (Sergio Bautista), Marigaby serves a population of millions by tackling extreme medical emergencies to make a living.
Midnight Family features an entirely Hispanic cast and crew led by Ariel Award winner Cosío, Vaca and Calva, and introduces Bautista, with the special participation of Goya Award winner Óscar Jaenada and José María de Tavira, Itzan Escamilla, Mariana Gómez, Dolores Heredia and special guest, Academy Award nominee Yalitza Aparicio.
The show is produced for Apple TV+ by Fremantle and Fabula. The series is produced by Juan de Dios Larraín and Pablo Larraín through Fabula. Ángela Poblete and Mariane Hartard serve as executive producers along with Beristáin. Rodrigo Herranz, Christian Vesper, Luke Lorentzen, Kellen Quinn, Josh Braun and Jonathan Bouzali also serve as executive producers.
Midnight Family premieres on Wednesday, September 25 on Apple TV+.
