We THOUGHT and we thought wrong. About what you ask? Well that would be that we would have time to catch up on quite a few seasons of When Calls The Heart before the new season premieres.
Again, we thought and we thought wrong.
This weekend we fell down an Erin Krakow hole because Santa Tells Me was on, and well, we loved the movie so very much. We were reminded just how much that we love Krakow and how the one thing of hers that we haven’t seen is When Calls The Heart.
Upon exploring her social media for pictures from Santa Tell Me (Krakow always posts amazing behind the scenes photos) we saw that she had posted about the filming for the 12th season of When Calls The Heart wrapping.
On November 8th, Krakow posted, “That’s a wrap on Season 12 of @wcth_tv! We are so grateful and proud and exhausted! Can’t wait to share this special season with all of you! #Hearties“
Wait? What? We were intrigued. Shortly after, The Swooon posted an interview with Krakow where she said, ““I can just tell you it has been such a roller coaster of a season, and I mean that in the best possible way. I can’t speak for every actor or every character on our show, but I can say that for my character, there has been so much variety: high highs, low lows, some real frisky fun, some comedy, and some serious drama. That’s just scratching the surface. It’s going to be a huge season.”
After that, on November 9th, during Santa Tell Me, Hallmark announced just when When Calls The Heart was returning.
Mark your calendars, January 5, 2025 — When Calls The Heart is returning. And on top of that, Hallmark dropped a trailer.
The captioned the Instagram post, “It’s time to finally go back home to Hope Valley, #Hearties! 💜 The all new season 12 of #WhenCallsTheHeart premieres January 5 at 9/8c.”
