9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 7 ‘Hotshots’ looks to be a filler episode focused on the show within the shot, and we can both really use a good dose of meta-entertainment, and kinda need a break from the hits that this show has delivered week after week in Season 8. Please, just let us breathe and have fun for one episode!
Especially considering that the next episode is the midseason finale and then we’ll walk off into the sunset, aka a long hiatus together. And somehow, we have a feeling we won’t be doing that with an episode that ties everything up in a nice little bow. No, we’re more likely to go into hiatus worrying about something or someone. So, yes, this week everything can be light. Fun.
Except for Buck, if he wants to mope for a bit, I guess we’ll accept that. Breakups suck and we all need a moment to mourn to get over the funk.
