ABC did a really funny thing with 9-1-1 Season 8, Episode 8 ‘Wannabes’ — it gave us a gazillion pictures, all from one scene. And it’s the same scene we saw in the trailer! It’s clearly the big emergency of the episode, but also… what are you doing, bestie? Why aren’t we seeing anything else?
What we’re seeing is pretty fun, though, and with that we mean it’d be horrifying if we were living it, but it looks like a fun call! And we won’t say not to wet Buck and Eddie, we really won’t.
However, the fact that all the pictures are from one scene is also a little worrisome, we’re not gonna lie. Midseason finales always have us a bit off-kilter. Maybe it’s because TV has trained us to expect midseason finales to be about a big cliffhanger. And we don’t really want anyone hanging from a cliff, metaphorical or otherwise, if we have to wait three months until the next episode (And we do!).
