After the hiatus and following the events of The Rookie Season 6, Episode 10, In The Rookie Season 7 Episode 1 ‘The Shot’ Nolan will feel his age as he tries to keep up with his day-to-day life while recovering from a gunshot wound. While that’s going on, the team welcomes two new rookies—and we really hope these last—as they face one of their biggest challenges yet in tracking down Bailey’s ex and Oscar, who escaped from prison.
Overall, the episode seems to pick up where the previous episode left off, and that includes Chenford. They’re now in an uncharted gray area where they’re walking on eggshells around each other but the love they have is too strong to ignore, so we’re ready for this new long ride, are we not?
