We love so much when production starts on a movie and someone gets the social media announcement right. It doesn’t happen all the time, but announcing that The Housemaid is now in production, well that social media manager got it right.
We’ve been excited for The Housemaid to begin. We mean, Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried in a movie together? You have our attention. We’ve read the book since the announcement was released and well, it’s really good.
In the movie, Sweeney will play Millie. Millie is excited as she gets a job and a fresh start working for a wealthy couple, Nina and Adam. Nina will be payed by Seyfried. The movie seems simple enough, but it gets more complicated, because according to the official logline, “Millie soon learns the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own.”

The Housemaid is based on the best-selling book by Freida McFadden, the movie stars Sydney Sweeney, Amanda Seyfried, and Brandon Sklenar. Paul Feig will be directing.
