Say what you want about Meghan Markle, but we’ll tell you that we love her. We love her return to social media. Do we get why most royals aren’t on social media? Yes. Do we think they should be able to be on social media? Absolutely.
As long as they are true to themselves. It doesn’t matter your role in life – people want you to be relatable.
And Meghan’s latest Instagram Reel is relatable AF.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been in the Los Angeles area and Meghan told the story of a girl she met while there. They had been in Altadena and as we all know the city was ravaged by the fires.
When there the girl Meghan met wanted to find a shirt that she had gotten at the Billie Eilish concert. It had been in the dryer, but the dryer had been destroyed in the fire.
“I said, ‘I don’t know Billie Eilish, but I’m going to figure out how to get you this shirt,’” Meghan as she touched the shirts and then touched the record that Billie had signed and sent along. “So I thought of everybody that I knew and I made a voice note and I was like, ‘Please, can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish? Here’s what I’m asking.’”
“I don’t even know what all this stuff means, but it’s signed for her! Huge thank you, Billie Eilish! This is going to mean so much to her,” Meghan said
It was a sweet moment with her acknowledging that Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, helped her “get over the line.”
