Dragons. When it comes to dragons, the first thing that pops into our heads is Game of Thrones. However, that being said, there are many other television shows and movies that have dragons in them. Right now, the one thing with dragons we should be focused on is the live-action movie How to Train Your Dragon!
There was a new trailer for the upcoming movie released, with most of the trailer featuring Mason Thames. Also seen in the trailer are Nico Parker and Gerard Butler. You may remember that Gerard Butler voiced Stoick in the animated film.
We now have the live action film, which in addition to the names mentioned above, features the talents of Bronwyn James, Marcus Onilude, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, and more. The movie was written by Dean DeBlois and Cressida Cowell.
The synopsis of the live-action film is, “On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup (Thames) stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast (Butler), Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society.”
“With the fierce and ambitious Astrid (Parker) and the village’s quirky blacksmith Gobber (Nick Frost) by his side, Hiccup confronts a world torn by fear and misunderstanding.” It then continues, “As an ancient threat emerges, endangering both Vikings and dragons, Hiccup’s friendship with Toothless becomes the key to forging a new future. Together, they must navigate the delicate path toward peace, soaring beyond the boundaries of their worlds and redefining what it means to be a hero and a leader.”
