What happened to the good ol’ days?
Asking yourself what the good ol’ days were? Well that was when television wasn’t just animated or reality television. Yes, we get the point of money. 100%. But we also get the point of people wanting good television to watch.
We’re looking at your Fox!
When stations keep just giving the viewers reality television (which don’t get me wrong – I do love some of that) and animated – it’s as if they forget what Bravo and Cartoon Network are. If we wanted that, we’d watch those networks.
We want scripted television.
No surprise that Fox has decided to not give us that. Yes, we have issues with Fox News, but we thought that Fox would give us good stuff. Spoiler: they barely did. We’ll give them credit for Doc, but that’s about it.
Okay, okay – we’ll add in the new Josh Charles show. That being said though, we’re so whatever about Fox’s schedule that we’re “meh” on that too. Don’t even remember the name – had to look that up. Doc Martin – the title – sounds like we’re having a show about the shoes that hurt your feet until you wear them in.
We know, we know… bitter doesn’t look good on anyone. But, Fox feels like my Grandmas television channel. It feels like the days of the old CBS. Sorry, not sorry.
