Sure, we’ve seen other versions of Frankenstein before, but it’s hard not to be excited for this one, considering it’s Guillermo Del Toro at the helm. Three-time Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro, making the movie he has always dreamed of making. And so this adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Gothic novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus feels like one we should pay attention to.
And that’s without going into the cast. The cast! Oscar Isaac, Jacob Elordi, and Mia Goth are the center of the story, but they’re joined by quite a supporting cast in Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Christian Convery, with Charles Dance and Christoph Waltz.
Other than a picture, we hadn’t seen much of the adaptation until now. And even though we already know the story, we have to admit we’re very intrigued by this new take. It’s Guillermo del Toro and Oscar Isaac, how can we not?
