We’ve decided that Andy Cohen needs to do all of the celebrity interviews from now on. Why? Because he gets all of the good information. What did he get? Glad he asked, let me tell you.
Cohen had Henry Golding on Watch What Happens Live and was able to get an update on the future of Crazy Rich Asians. Golding starred alongside Constance Wu, Michelle Yeoh, Gemma Chan, and Awkwafina in the 2018 movie. It was based on a book by author Kevin Kwan.
It’s been rumored that the next steps would be a series, which honestly is an idea we love. We’re just going to need some information so we can start rearranging our lives to make it a priority.
“Something’s been made,” Henry teased on the June 26th episode of Watch What Happens Live. “I think we’re actually going to do a series. That’s what they’re trying to give us. Aiming for like first quarter even next year.”
Series? Again, yes, please. But are there scripts? Goulding said that they are “hanging around” and that he hasn’t read anything yet.
Someone send him a script – we need to know he’s involved.
“But I hear it’s promising,” Henry said, teasing us all and knowing that we’d hang on his every word.
