Trust issues may be the reason that I don’t ever go to bed early on a Saturday night ever again. You see, I fell asleep early, minding my own business, and woke up to the announcement that there was a third Three Wise Men movie announced.
I apparently can’t trust my judgment.
People announced that Hallmark Channel has greenlit a third movie in the franchise that stars Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, and Paul Campbell. All are set to return, as well as their TV Mom, Margaret Colin.
The movie is set to film this summer, just in time for Countdown to Christmas.
“In 2022, our Brenner brothers, Andrew, Tyler and Paul danced — literally — into viewers’ hearts, creating on-screen magic and a ratings hit,” in a statement, Jennifer Kramer, Vice President of Programming at Hallmark Media said, “The Three Wise Men movies are funny, heartwarming and show the power of family and brotherhood.”
No writer for the third movie has been announced yet, but we’re hoping it’s the writers who wrote the first two – actor Paul Campbell and actress Kimberley Sustad. No one knows the Three Wise Men fandom the way that these two do.
“We were surprised at the reaction that people had with the first Three Wise Men, and we’re just glad to do it again,” Andrew Walker said to People.
Tyler Hynes added, “What these movies do best is when they explore new themes that maybe haven’t been done, and I think Wise Men does that incredibly well.”
“I think we found something really great, really fun. We definitely bring the silliness,” Paul Campbell added.
We don’t know about you, but we’re excited for this. Bring on the wise men!
