While we would be terrified to take a lie detector test, we do love that some celebrities are willing to take them on for Vanity Fair. It’s fun to see how they react to things, but also love that they are just so blunt. For instance, Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler taking one for their movie, Caught Stealing.
Now, I am pretty sure that no one knows everyone’s resume when you take on an acting role. This is why I can’t help but laugh over Kravitz throwing unintentional shade.
While we may not be into And Just Like That, we did love The Carrie Diaries. Both of them are spin-offs of Sex and The City. When asked about the spinoffs and which one she liked better, Kravitz managed to throw some unintentional shade.
Zoë said, “Neither. Leave that show alone. Everybody just stop.”
I couldn’t stop laughing, because The Carrie Diaries starred Butler as Sebastian – Carrie’s boyfriend. She continued, “Oh no, are you on that show?”
Not gonna lie, I have watched the lie detector test a few times because Butler’s voice is so soothing.

The two are on a press tour for their new movie, Caught Stealing, which premiered on August 29th, 2025. It is about “When his punk-rock neighbour asks him to take care of his cat for a few days, New York City bartender Hank Thompson suddenly finds himself caught in the middle of a motley crew of threatening gangsters who all want a piece of him.”
