Following the events of High Potential Season 2 Episode 1, taking the photos, promo, and synopsis as a starting point, let’s speculate about High Potential Season 2 Episode 2 “Checkmate”!
In this episode, Morgan and the team try to solve the intricate puzzle David has put together. Morgan is certain he’s responsible for the crimes they’re investigating. And she also knows that if David turned himself in, it’s because he’s clear they have nothing on him and are going to let him go. And the worst part is that he’s right.
Morgan knows what a monster he really is, but neither she nor the team have any way to prove it. So trying to do that will be a race against time. However, we trust Morgan and the entire team. They’ll solve it. David’s arrogance will be his downfall.
Although Morgan’s job is quite stressful in High Potential Season 2 Episode 2 “Checkmate,” she manages to enjoy quality time with her family while Elliot prepares something for his school’s talent show. Although, from what we glimpse in the photos, Ava isn’t too happy about still being locked up, so we see some drama brewing here.
As for Roman, Daphne and Oz are in charge to continuing to try to figure out his whereabouts. So there’s not much time left until we find out what really happened and see everyone’s reactions to the discovery, especially Morgan and Ava’s. It’s a ticking time bomb.
