In Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 1 Episode 9 ‘Braemar,’ Henry and Julia finally reunited… but enemies are stalking them. They need to escape immediately, but nothing is easy for them, especially considering Seema is right there and could be a problem for them. Time to talk about it! Ready?
Here we go!
Explanations

Ned and Brian saved the day for Henry and Julia in Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 1 Episode 9 ‘Braemar.’ While Julia and Henry’s first meeting was just as romantic as the first—seriously, they both just wanted to hug and get away together—the news that Julia is married to Lord Lovat left Henry feeling betrayed and with too many unanswered questions. How could Julia be capable of that?
Henry is too torn and confused to come to any logical conclusions. On one hand, he knows Julia loves him and would never betray him like that. Just as he never did, since when he slept with Seema, he wasn’t aware of what he was doing. But on the other hand, a wedding is too big a deal. Henry needs explanations.
Luckily, Brian takes it upon himself to give them to him in Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 1 Episode 9 ‘Braemar,’ and Henry understands. He understands eveything Julia went through and the sacrifice she made for their child. And that only makes him love her even more. With both of them there and their enemies closing in, it’s time for them to flee… but nothing could be that easy. Arch Bug keeps an eye on Henry and takes every opportunity to speak against him to the Grants, trying to make them distrust him. We’d be lying if we said this didn’t worry us.
However, our biggest concern now is that Seema was there. Henry didn’t see her, but she did see him. At the beginning of Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 1 Episode 9 ‘Braemar,’ Seema was overjoyed and excited when she discovered Henry was in the same place as her. In the end, he didn’t leave… and Seema feels she has another chance to win him over. But when she sees Henry with Julia, when she hears everything he says… the love in his words breaks her heart and shatters all her dreams. The question is: what will Seema do now?

Seema’s Dilemma

If you ask us, we think Seema doesn’t love Henry. She just clings to him because he was the only one in a long time who reminded her of her worth and didn’t treat her like an object. With him, she feels safe, secure, protected… Seema knows she has nothing to fear from Henry. He would never hurt her or treat her the way everyone else does. Plus, she understands the feeling of loss that drew Henry to her. And that brings them together.
However, the truth is that Seema could become a threat to Henry and Julia. She’s hurt and resentful… and she knows that Henry didn’t confess to Julia what happened between them. We’re sure Julia will understand, but the fact that Henry didn’t tell her anything from the beginning, in addition to the intimacy—beyond the physical—that developed between Seema and Henry, could cause a problem between them.
So now Seema has to decide what she wants to do. She can accept that Henry never felt for her the way she felt for him. Or she can try to win back something she never really had. What do you think she’ll do?
