We’re back! High Potential Season 2 Episode 4 ‘Behind the Music’ delves into the platonic partnership between Morgan and Karadec while bringing back everything we’ve been missing from the show: its heart. Ready?
Here we go!
Platonic Partnership

High Potential Season 2 Episode 4 ‘Behind the Music’ relies on Morgan and Karadec AKA Morgadec to keep the episode moving. And it works. It’s the first time this season that we see that push and pull between them, those double entendres, this innocent flirtation. They take their partnership a step further and grow closer. And it’s about time! This platonic dynamic between them is part of what we’ve been missing in the previous three episodes, and it’s finally here.
We’ll never forget how Morgan made it very clear that she didn’t want any other partner than Karadec. We’ve come a long way here. At first, they couldn’t stand each other. Morgan considered him too uptight and rigid, and Karadec considered her a chaotic mess that devastated everything she touched. And, in a way, they were both right. But that’s what makes them perfect: they’re each other’s foils. They complement each other perfectly. And the truth is, neither of them can imagine their day-to-day lives without working together.
That’s why Karadec makes it clear they’ll make it work in High Potential Season 2 Episode 4 ‘Behind the Music.’ He doesn’t want to lose her either. And the way his voice softens for just a moment…that has us glued! We also won’t forget those double entendres, or how Karadec protects Morgan with everything he has. And the way Morgan irritates him, but he couldn’t be without her at the same time because she challenges him, forcing him to look at things from a different perspective. They’re like a married couple, we swear.

Time to Accept Help

But for us, the magic is that Karadec knows and understands her—and vice versa. That’s why he knows Morgan isn’t her usual self in High Potential Season 2 Episode 4 ‘Behind the Music.’ She’s too quiet and thoughtful. Yes, she’s trying to hide and be the chaos she always is. But Karadec sees through that; he sees her. And he knows something’s up. He’s giving her space, but he also wants to make sure Morgan knows she can count on him. Always.
Morgan finally lets him in a little, letting him know something’s on her mind. But we don’t understand why she doesn’t tell him what’s going on. Morgan knows she can trust Karadec. And she should tell him everything so they can figure it out together.
Morgan needs help, and it’s time for her to accept that. It’s time for her to realize she’s not alone. Not anymore. She needs to let herself be helped, if not by the whole team, then at least by Karadec. We’re calm about this, though. We know he’ll have her back no matter what, even if he has to figure out what’s going on on his own.

Other Stuff in High Potential Season 2 Episode 4 ‘Behind the Music’

- Selena should have been the captain, that’s a fact. It’s unfair and stupid that she isn’t. As always, they give the position to the white man, what a shocker!
- We’re furious about this.
- Like, really furious.
- Morgan’s outrage is ours. Everything sucks, and we need to burn something or beat someone up in Selena’s name. And we also need Karadec to be less cautious and join us.
- We understand why Selena acted strong with everyone out there. She didn’t want to see their pitying looks. They would only make her feel worse. But we love how everyone was there for her, even giving her the space she needs. She’s not alone. And we just want to give her a hug.
- Morgan and Selena’s friendship is the best!
- “I don’t want another partner.” “We’ll make it work.”
- “You were right.” “Say it again.”
- Why do we have the feeling the Internal Affairs agent will return later for something related to Morgan? We didn’t like what he said at all.
- The show needed a turnaround…we hope Nick, the new captain, is that.
