Rebecca Serle is one of our favorite authors in the world. She writes with such ease and confidence; her words strung together like poetry. From her YA to adult books, Serle knows how to keep you turning the pages and invested in her characters. Expiration Dates is one such novel that does just that.
We’ve been anxiously awaiting any news on her novels making its way to the screen – big or small. Expiration Dates, “follows a woman who receives paper slips from the universe with the date her relationship will expire. When a man comes along and defies the pattern, she begins to question her predetermined timeline.”
Amazon MGM Studios is developing the project with Emma Roberts to star. This seems like the perfect casting.
Expiration Dates isn’t the first of Serle’s novels to be adapted. Famous in Love, was adapted to a television show of the same name. YA novel When You Were Mine was adapted into the feature film Rosaline and her book One Italian Summer is in development at Paramount with Temple Hill producing.
We can’t wait to see this coming to life. Such a great book, and we’re positive that it will make a great movie.
