When it comes to Pete Davidson, we have to admit that we love most everything that he’s in. He’s charismatic, funny, and full of life. The actor has booked a new role, and it’s in a romantic comedy. One that is described as a “cosmic rom-com” and we’re really wondering what that means.
That Time We Met has Davidson starring opposite Ella Purnell and marks the sophomore film for director Nick Lieberman. You may remember Lieberman directed mockumentary Theater Camp.
Now, what is That Time We Met about? Well Davidson and Purnell’s characters find out that their unborn son is going to save the humanity. The issue? Well according to the synopsis “The only problem is they’ve just had their first date and now they fucking hate each other.”
Goes to show you how scary sleeping with someone on the first date can be. That said though, we’ll be watching. The little that we know about it sounds like a good time.
And a good laugh.
While there is little information on the movie, we do know we’ll be following the news on it as it comes out.
