Ever since we saw the first look at You, Me & Tuscany, we’ve been hooked! But now that we know so much more, we just want to see the movie RIGHT NOW. Because sometimes the wrong place is right where you need to be. And that’s exactly what happens to Anna. A little lie changes her whole life.
Anna didn’t have to be in that gorgeous Italian villa for the super-rich. But being there gave her a family and helped her rediscover herself, the dreams she had abandoned. And it also brought her true love. If you’re still not convinced to see it, here’s everything we know about the movie.
Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page lead the movie as Anna and Michael, respectively. The movie also features, Italian film icon Isabella Ferrari as Gabriella—Matteo’s mother—, Lorenzo de Moor as Matteo, Marco Calvani as an Italian taxi driver who befriends Anna and Academy Award® nominee Nia Vardalos as Anna’s house-sitting client, Mrs. Dunn.
You, Me & Tuscany is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Kat Coiro—we know her for Marry Me and Matlock—from a screenplay by Ryan Engle, based on an original idea by Ryan Engle and Kristin Engle. The film is produced by Will Packer and Johanna Byer for Will Packer Productions. The executive producers are Ryan Engle and Kristin Engle.

The Plot:
The official synopsis for You, Me & Tuscany is “when Anna loses her house-sitting job (and housing) in one fell swoop, a chance encounter with Matteo—a handsome Italian who happens to have a villa sitting empty in Tuscany—will inspire her to jet off for Italy, against the advice of her always-honest bestie, Claire (Home Before Dark’s Aziza Scott). And that leads to a whole new world of adventure, lies and, of course, love.”

And, thanks to ScreenRant, there’s a new still from the movie!

Those looks between Michael and Anna…sparks are flying. There’s definitely a lot of chemistry between the actors. And we can’t wait to see the whole scene. It’s some kind of toast at a family event—are they toasting Anna, or is it just Michael making sure their glasses clink? Judging by Anna’s expression, she already seems to have feelings for Michael…and he doesn’t seem to be holding back either. He stares at her intently and for a long time, as if he can’t tear his eyes away. Can’t wait!
