Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. are coming back for another crossover, because we’re not getting back into the swing of yearly crossovers once again. No complaints here! Especially since this one is bringing back Jay Halstead and Hailey Upton, and hopefully giving them the closure (read: happy ending) they deserved. Why not? The other Halstead already got his own happy ending!
But in general, crossovers are just fun, even without the promise of the show fixing a ship that always deserved better. We get to see people interact that never do. It feels like it’s all one big movie, and that is pretty exciting. Also, they always go big for the crossovers, so our hearts are typically in our throats the entire time.
Here’s everything we know about what the upcoming crossover has in store:

Here is the synopsis for each of the episodes:
“Reckoning, Part I” (Chicago Fire) – Firehouse 51 is called to an airfield when a passenger jet suddenly goes silent mid-air, triggering a high-stakes emergency. Their discovery cracks open a bigger and deadlier mystery — one with consequences that could put countless lives in jeopardy.
“Reckoning, Part 2” (Chicago Med) – The doctors at Gaffney are thrust into a race against time as they work to unravel a baffling medical mystery linked to the passenger jet, while lives hang in the balance.
“Reckoning, Part 3” (Chicago PD) – An airfield emergency triggers a deeper mystery involving a passenger plane, propelling the Intelligence Unit into a high?stakes pursuit of the culprit, all under the sharp eye of the FBI.

Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. air on Wednesdays starting at 8/7c on NBC. For the crossover only, Chicago Fire will air before Chicago Med, with Chicago P.D. closing the crossover.
After the way One Chicago botched Jay and Hailey’s exits, I’m not all that confident their going to get this right. The promo with Jay saying to Hailey “good to see you,” does not alleviate my concerns.
