CIA is interesting. Why? We know that we’re looking for a mole in the CIA, but I thought that only Bill knew that there was one. We quickly learn that is not the case. How? Well Colin had to go through a lie detector test and we then find out he knows about it. Nikki knows about it.
Colin loast his former partner, Toni, and no one knows why. They are investigating and don’t want anyone to know. The CIA is very secretive but I didn’t know that didn’t tell each other things. Makes sense though – as they are all liars.
I am excited to watch that hunt, because it is always interesting to see how the clues unfold and what you will find.
Nikki, Gina, Colin, and Bill are learning to come together as a team and that dynamic is becoming more and more interesting to watch. I don’t trust any of them, but they have to learn to trust each other. I think that one of the most interesting things is their dynamic.
THE PATH
The case? Poland flagged for the CIA that a Belarus national, who they associated with The Path is coming to the United States. The Path is a neo-nazi terrorist group. The FBI had previously arrested some of their members and could not figure out how they were funding their terror.
With the man entering the states, they were following him to see what they were up to. It turns out that he had brought a pregnant woman with him. An ambulance was there to meet them as the woman had gone into labor.
Why is he with a pregnant woman? What is going on? Well, nothing is simple when it comes to any procedural, as we know.
What we do know is that The Path are a bunch of racially motivated terrorists. The FBI has made arrests, but they’ve never been able to figure out how they fund their terror organization. But Bill is going to find out soon just how they did that.
THE BABY
Bill and Colin really do work together well. They are able to get to the hospital and find Aleks and the woman. Colin and Bill in a hospital is quite funny. They both think that they can charm anyone for information and sure, they are quite handsome, but that made me LOL.
It’s not charming, it’s manipulation. Then again that is part of their job. Bill – people can know who he is and what he does, but Colin has to remain more secretive.
Babies are a blessing and people that mess with babies are disgusting. The Path, a known terrorist group, has sent a man, Aleks, to the USA with a woman named Sophia. Sophia went into labor on the way to the United States.
She gave birth prematurely and Aleks wasn’t happy. She had changed her mind and that infuriated Aleks. So much so that he stole the baby from the hospital.
Sophia explains to Bill and Colin that she was offered $2000 for her baby. This is a lot of money in her home town. Most women are offered on $1000. I don’t get it. How is that okay? I am so confused.
They ask Sophia if she knows who is supposed to adopt her baby.
STEPHANIE HARRIS
$100,000 is what Stephanie Harris paid to adopt Sophias baby. She’s given that much and then upon getting the baby she is supposed to pay $50,000 more. Sophia picked her out and was excited for her baby to have a good home to go to.
Stephanie is the nexus.
Bill went back to meet Stephanie, and Stephanie heard from Aleks. The baby is running out of time and is really sick. Sophia had picked Stephanie out via her video. On the adoption website there are videos of ppl wanting to pay for babies.
In the previous arrests the FBI could not figure out how The Path were funding their terror, but now we know.
Stephanie did not know that is what she was paying for. She just wanted to be a Mom.
They need her help. Bill has a repore with Stephanie and goes to talk to her – talking her into helping them. She’s worried the won’t answer. But Bill assures her that Aleks will.
Bill is like he’ll answer hes in it for the money.
Stephanie tells them the lawyer that they’ve been working with. Elizabeth is a miserable human and she deserves to be slapped. That’s all I will say about that.
She helps them track down Aleks and that leads them to somethings that they didn’t expect.
SAME ADDRESS
At the hospital Bill and Colin ask the nurse all sorts of questions about the women who have come in and if any of them share an address. The nurse says that they do.
What Bill and Colin find is a baby factory. There are several homes that are just filled with women brought to the United States who are pregnant. It’s actually quite heartbreaking.
It’s in one of these homes that the find Sophia dead. It’s in one that they also find her baby – almost dead. But they are able to get that baby to the hospital and save its life.
That’s a win!
OTHER THOUGHTS
- Gina being in the field, even if it’s just to pose as a driver is amazing
- Translating the conversation Aleks was having – good on Gina for going the extra mile
- Stephanie – I don’t trust her, regardless.
- The bombings in Birmingham made me sad – the team was truly trying to stop everything from going back
- Bills Dad – that storyline – I am wondering what is gonna happen and if itll play into a case (like Bill messing up or something
- Drinks at the end was good
- Colin calling Bill “mate” over and over again was cute
- Nikki talking to Bill – is she suspicious of him?
- The lie detector freaks me out
- The cardio game is good, but run faster Bill and Colin
