The dragons are coming. And though we greatly enjoyed A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and its lack of dragons, we won’t complain about jumping back in time to when they were still the main story. Well, that and that pesky fight for the throne that rightfully belongs to Rhaenyra. House of the Dragon Season 3, come to us.
What? We’re Team Black here, all the way. We know we’re gonna suffer either way, but we’ve picked our side. And our team is looking better than ever, if we do say so ourselves. It’s about time things start going their way, isn’t it?
For those of us who have read this book and know what’s coming, this is both exciting and incredibly nerve-wracking. We won’t spoil it here. For the rest, well… maybe it’s the same. Either way, here’s everything we know about the upcoming season. Are you ready? We’re not.

Who Is in the Cast of House of the Dragon Season 3?
Returning cast members for Season 3 include Emma D’Arcy, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Steve Toussaint, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Tom Glynn-Carney, Ewan Mitchell, Phia Saban, Sonoya Mizuno, Matthew Needham, Phoebe Campbell, Jefferson Hall, Tom Bennett, Kieran Bew, Kurt Egyiawan, Freddie Fox, Clinton Liberty, Abubakar Salim, and Gayle Rankin.
Joining the cast are Tommy Flanagan as Ser Roderick Dustin, Dan Fogler as Ser Torrhen Manderly, and James Norton as Ormund Hightower.

Premiere Date
Season 3 of House of the Dragon is set to debut on Sunday, June 21, at 9 PM ET, with episodes airing weekly leading up to the season finale on August 9.

Yes, House of the Dragon will return for a fourth and final season, slated for 2028.
