No surprise to us that Disney’s San Diego Comic Con schedule is out, and something that we’re excited over. They are bringing some heavy hitters to the event and making sure that they are keeping people entertained both in and out of the convention center.
One of this year’s largest fan experiences will be the Hulu Animayhem takeover of San Diego’s Gaslamp District. We love a good takeover of the gaslamp district, because it’s always something fun going on.
The free experience combines immersive environments with themed food, drinks, exclusive merchandise, and plenty of photo opportunities. According to Deadline, “fan-first experience inspired by Futurama and King of the Hill. The iconic Planet Express returns to Comic-Con alongside Bobby Hill’s new Robata Chane venture. Guests can enjoy themed offerings like Fry’s 100 Days of Cold Brew and Robata Chane-inspired yakitori. As guests fuel up, they’ll explore immersive environments, uncover hidden Easter eggs and capture shareable moments inspired by fan-favorite storylines from each series.”
There will be an FX installation for American Horror Story and Disney will have an immersive environment for Percy Jackson (take us to Camp Half Blood please).
