We watch a lot of TV and movies! So yeah, we’re fangirling over a lot of things! Each week we come together to highlight all the feels they give us throughout the week. On these Fangirlish Feels of the Week, there are five categories and many thoughts! Ready?

Best Scene of the Week
Jasmine: I know it’s old but I finally watched His & Hers on Netflix. That series kept me absolutely glued to my seat. But the best moment came with that twisty reveal in the final episode. I never saw that coming. I love a good show that has a gut punch of an ending. Especially one the audience can’t predict. Props to Crystal R. Fox because she absolutely owned that episode.
Gissane: I mean, Jamie Tartt and Roy Kent dancing to House of Pain’s “Jump Around” is everything I didn’t know I needed and more. Seeing Phil Dunster and Brett Goldstein together again is a gift, and it’s one of the best parts of Ted Lasso Season 4.
Rachel: The moment in Lanterns 1×04 when Hal and John are confronting the guy they think is Hector Hammond was excellent. Even after Hector tried to pit them against each other by playing the recording of John’s disparagement of Hal, Hal still proved his detective skills by showing Hector wasn’t who he claimed to be and he saved John’s parents at the same time. Great tension and storytelling in this moment to develop Hal and John’s relationship. This show is so good!
Ship of the Week
Gissane: I mean, Lee Pace and Sandra Bullock in Practical Magic 2 were hot af, so I fear I’m biased and have to choose them.
Rachel: This week, I’m going with Marfil and Sebastian in Drawn Together. Two hot people with great chemistry: what more could you want? Ester Exposito and Hugo Diego Garcia really sold their interaction. CAN’T WAIT FOR PART 2!!
Raquel: I’m 100% agree with Rachel here!
Best Performance of the Week
Jasmine: Gonna go with that US Open tennis match of Shelton vs. Tiafoe. I don’t often watch sports but that was a GREAT game. I didn’t even have a specific person I wanted to win but it was awesome to witness two Black men in such a big game. And both really put in the work.
Gissane: I’m consistently so in awe of what Tracy Spiridakos brings to Anna Pigeon, and the way this week’s episode continues from last week’s gives her such phenomenal material to work with.
Miah: I’ve been rewatching a Different World this week, and Kadeem Hardison had the most stellar performance as Dwayne Wayne at Whitley’s (and eventually his) wedding. His objection was so powerful, and his performance had audiences on the edge of their seats rooting for him. The raw emotion and feeling in which he delivered his lines, reminded me of Jackson Avery’s objection, and that performance will always be top tier.
Moment that Annoyed Us This Week
Jasmine: All of the ridiculous storylines happening on General Hospital right now. Sure the actors are great, but that doesn’t erase how convoluted and nonsensical everything is right now. Particularly the Brook Lynn/Curtis/Jordan car accident storyline, as well as Drew’s revenge storyline yet again.
Gissane: Repetition in screenplays is getting to a point where it’s making me so infuriated every time I notice it. And while I loved so many things about Practical Magic 2, every time I think about the screenplay and how much exposition there is, I get annoyed all over. We shouldn’t have to suffer just because there are people out there who watch TV and movies while also on their phones. The screenplay shouldn’t have to cater to them while those of us who pay attention suffer with inorganic repetition.
Rachel: I didn’t know Drawn Together was going to end on a CLILFFHANGER!!!! I hope Part 2 gets here soon! UGHHHHH!
Miah: Brittany’s actions towards Anna and Manny in this week’s episode of Anna Pigeon. I can sympathize with being trapped as a Paulson and having to deal with coercive power, but betraying Manny and Anna, broke my heart. They would absolutely have supported Brittany had Brittany decided to speak out against the family.
