The Hamptons are an interesting place. Due to television and the movies, I have always thought that the Hamptons is a playground for the rich, where celebrities go to their multi-million dollar beachfront homes and eat food that costs more than my rent. The Hamptons has always seemsed like a soap opera – chaos and drama.
I watch Summer House.
Now the Hamptons is coming to us in a different form. Vertical streamer Shorts is teaming up with Full Moon Artists to being Love in the Hamptons to the screen. Your phone screen that is.
Yes, we’re talkng about a vertical drama.
The drama, “serves as a love letter to the East End, celebrating both the timeless glamour of the world-famous town and the close-knit local community that has defined it for generations.”
Full Moon Artists Sarah Moliski and Rebecca Stoughton, are behind this drama, with Marc Cotter and Bilella from Water Street Films serving as writers.
This is the first drama to come from Full Moon Artists are bringing to life. You may remember that earlier this year, FMA was formed by vertical stars Sarah Moliski, Rebecca Stoughton, Felix Merback and Eric Guilmette.
There is no cast as of yet for this drama, which is inspired by Moliski’s life in the east coast hideaway of the rich. If you aren’t familiar with Moliski’s work – she’s a powerhouse in the vertical space. She has a reputation of playing the villian, but behind the scenes she’s also one of the biggest casting directors of the genre, advices vertical apps, and works in talent development. She’s a genius in the space.
We’ll be following this one. Will you? What are your favorite kind of verticals? What genre do you love?
