Chicago P.D. Season 14, Episode 4 ‘My Eye, My Call’ brings what we’re assuming is the newest member of Intelligence. Or, at least that seems to be the plan. The show has brought in a few characters in the past few years and then decided they didn’t really fit, like Kiana Cook. But the way the show has worked in the last few years requires at least one more member, and then the show will continue to rotate them, with characters missing an episode here and there.
We haven’t seen Dante in two episodes, after all.
Most of the characters who have joined Intelligence we have met while on a case anyway, so this is all on par for the course. Now the question is, what is he bringing to the table? How do the dynamics work? That’s really what made Imani such an effective character, she’s different from any character we’ve met before and her dynamic with Voight is very good. Plus, there seems to be something building with Dante.
That means whoever comes in would be the odd man out. That’s a hard place to be. Let’s see what the show has planned.

Photos
Only three photos usually means the show doesn’t have much it wants to show us. One of those pictures is of Kim and another of Adam, but this doesn’t really seem to be a Burzek episode, or an episode focused on either of them. They are, however, the longest-running members of the unit with Voight, so it makes sense they’re the ones to welcome a new member.

Synopsis
Intelligence has been a man short at a bunch of different times in the past few years, because there’s been so much cast turnover. They are once again a man down after Kevin left, and no, we’re not counting FBI Charlie as part of the team. The last character the show brought, Imani, has worked really, really well. Let’s see how that goes this time.
Here is the synopsis:
An eager young officer assigned to one of Chicago’s most dangerous districts catches a case that Intelligence has an eye on.
Promo
The promo teases a new member of Intelligence, which we already knew we were getting after LaRoyce Hawkins’ departure. We still don’t know much about this new member of Intelligence, other than casting calls described him as “a Black cop who is an agent of chaos.” How? What does that even mean? I guess we’ll find out this week.
