When it comes to superhero shows there’s nothing that’s more comic book than when these shows cross over with each other. We’ve seen it multiple times between Arrow and The Flash — in fact it’s become an annual thing on The CW — and we know we can expect it between DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to get in the mix with Arrow and Flash.
But the most-hyped crossover at present is the one that is happening in just over a week on CBS when The CW’s Flash crosses over with CBS’s Supergirl. There’s much to be excited about with the multi-network crossover, but one of the most exciting is the future of additional crossovers featuring other shows.
While The Flash is set to cross over with Supergirl next Monday, Flash star Grant Gustin is already anticipating a crossover between both shows, as well as fellow CW hits Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
“That’s in the cards at this point,” says Gustin. “The whole point of us doing this crossover is setting up the fact that maybe next year we can cross over all of them.”
The Supergirl/Flash crossover airs Monday, March 28 at 8/7c on CBS.
