Is this karma? Are we being punished? Because it sure as hell feels like it.
Kat McNamara has joined the cast of Arrow in a recurring role. She is joining the show for the first half of season 7 as Maya, a street fighter and thief from Star City. Lord, what did we do that you want to make Arrow worse than it has been?
Look, I could be wrong – Kat could be fabulous in this role – who knows? The fact that she was so bad in Shadowhunters could be because she had the worlds worst writing to contend with. And for the record – world worst writing means the show, not the books.
Season 7 of Arrow includes some pretty big casting moves – the series-regular return of Colton Haynes (As Roy Harper), and the arrival of Holly Elissa , Miranda Edwards, Michael Jonsson as the villains known in the DC universes the Longbow Hunters.
I admit I could have lived without the Kat addition, but we shall see.
Arrow returns with Season 7 on Monday, Oct. 15 at 8/7c on the CW.
