Brace yourselves, Kryptonians! SyFy has officially released a first look at the highly anticipated second season of its hit series, Krypton. The prequel that focuses on Superman’s grandfather ended its freshman run on a major cliffhanger last year.
After exiling Seg-El to the Phantom Zone, General Zod was able to take over Kandor City. The new trailer teases that “it’s a bad day to be a hero” after name dropping some of Superman’s most iconic super villains. Fans should expect to see more of Zod, Brainiac and even Doomsday when the series returns later this year.
Actor Cameron Cuffe, who plays Seg-El and is sporting a very sexy beard in the season 2 trailer, has been teasing the new season since filming began last fall. As soon as the trailer dropped online, he jumped on Twitter to hype up fans:
I couldn’t be prouder of what’s coming. This is the story I’ve always wanted to tell with these characters. The stakes are higher, the threats are more dangerous, and this adventure is more epic than it has ever been. #Krypton https://t.co/OthpbgCsge
