If you aren’t familiar with Daisy Jones & The Six, it tells the story of Daisy Jones. She’s rich, parents ignore her, and she finds herself rising to rock stardom in the 70’s. The book is a page turner, one that you won’t regret investing your time into.
The series is set against the backdrop of the 1970s L.A. music scene and is being adapted by Amazon Studios.
Previously cast in the adaptation of the novel were Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Camilla Morrone, Nabiyah Be, Will Harrison, Suki Waterhouse, and Josh Whitehouse.
We now have a new addition. Sebastian Chacon is set to star in the adaptation.
He will play, “drummer Warren Rhodes, the fun-loving, unpretentious backbone of the Six who, unlike his band mates, manages to keep perspective and enjoy the ride, never losing sight of his small-town roots.”
Daisy Jones & The Six will be executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter for Hello Sunshine, Brad Mendelsohn for Circle of Confusion, Niki Caro and showrunner Will Graham.
Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber created the series and also serve as executive producers. Book writer Taylor Jenkins Reid will produce.
