One thing that this pandemic has taught me is that I am not watching and implementing enough of what I am learning from The Food Network.
But in that same breath, it has taught me that cooking shows just aren’t meant for The Food Network.
Selena Gomez is taking to HBO Max for her cooking show. And it’s based around a premise that we can all relate to.
It will be shot in her kitchen and, “navigates unfamiliar territory: making delicious meals while stuck at home in quarantine.”
I mean personally, I am not making anything delicious – but a lot of grilled asparagus, onions, and mushrooms, with some sort of protein. What can I say? I am not a chef.
“I’ve always been very vocal about my love of food. I think I’ve been asked hundreds of times in interviews if I had another career, what would I do and I’ve answered that it would be fun to be a chef,” Selena said in a statement about the upcoming show.
She added that, “I definitely don’t have the formal training though! Like many of us while being home I find myself cooking more and experimenting in the kitchen.”
I think it sounds like it is going to be fun.
Will you watch?
