You know how it is when you think that you like an actor, but everything that you thought about them was ruined by Selling Sunset so you aren’t sure if you will watch the new show? That is how I feel knowing that Justin Hartley was cast in a new show.
Sorry, the Selling Sunset drama drew me in.
The Noel Diary, a feature adaptation of Richard Paul Evans’ New York Times bestselling novel, is set to star the presumed cheater (again, I live by reality TV show drama), which makes me partially not want to watch it, but know I will because I have issues and have grown to accept them.
The book is about, “author Jacob Turner who returns home on Christmas to settle his estranged mother’s estate. There he discovers a diary that may hold secrets to his own past and that of Rachel — a beautiful young woman on a mysterious journey of her own. Together, they embark on an adventure to confront their pasts and discover a future that’s totally unexpected.”
I mean knowing me, this had my ass at the mention of the word Christmas.
Charles Shyer is set to direct.
So yes, I am mad at Justin Hartley, but it’s Netflix, a pandemic, and well… I’m bored. I’m not even gonna front. I will be watching.
