WandaVision premieres tomorrow! The wait is almost over. Marvel fans can rejoice because the content is back, and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down any time soon. Two clips were released leading up to the show’s premiere — both in black and white. We can’t stop rewatching them, so we want to make sure you have a chance to do the same before Friday.
The first clip premiered when Elizabeth Olsen appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The scene starts around the 4:20 mark. Olsen shared it’s from their Bewitched-inspired episode. Even people who aren’t die-hard TV fans could probably tell that’s what WandaVision is paying homage to in that moment. It’s the first glimpse of any real scenes from WandaVision, and it proves how dedicated the team is at replicating the stylized format of American sitcoms. The laugh tracks, the exaggerated sound effects and facial expressions are there.
All of Marvel Studios’ social media platforms shared the second clip. This one highlights Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s chemistry in a different way than the first. This clips sees the couple forgetting what appears to be an important day in their relationship. The actors’ comedy chops are on full display. Their accents and mannerisms are ripped right from the decades they’re honoring. It’s a look into how special WandaVision will be. It’s a closer look at Wanda and Vision’s relationship in this new era and possibly a new branch of the Multiverse.
The two clips are extremely fun and clearly unlike anything fans of the MCU have ever seen. The most interesting part of the less-than-two minutes of footage is that we still don’t have any real idea of WandaVision‘s overall plot. There is so much left to our imaginations and the weekly episodes drops from now on.
