If you are like me, One Tree Hill, is life. The show changed everything for me – made me fall in love with characters, navigate challenges, and showed me just how strong people could be. I mean, sure it was a little insane at times, but what isn’t.
James Lafferty and Stephen Colletti, have a new show out, Everyone Is Doing Great, on Hulu. The two have been doing press for the show and Lafferty spoke with US Weekly about the end of One Tree Hill and his character in the new show.
“I can relate to where [my character] Jeremy is in our show from my own experience, just coming off of One Tree Hill and just being so young on that show, and I guess, naïve,” Lafferty said.
One Tree Hill, being one of the most popular shows of the time, Lafferty told US Weekly that he, “thought that when that show ended, things would be pretty easy for me, that it would be easy to work again in television. Coming out of One Tree Hill, I think it was a real reality check. It was a real wake-up call as to how incredibly competitive it is out there.”
Well we’re glad to see him back on our screens and can’t wait for more that James is in. I admit, that he was my first celebrity crush and still is, so I would follow him anywhere.
