Grown-ish is one of the best shows on television. Great writing, acting, and relatable storylines. It’s always teaching us something, giving us something that we didn’t know we needed.
This season is one for the books. And we’re not even that far in.
Daniella Perkins (Knight Squad) and newcomer Warren Egpyt Franklin (Hamilton) have joined the fourth season of the hit Freeform show in recurring roles.
In the fourth season, “it’s senior year and the finish line is in sight. Zoey Johnson returns to Cal U from her adventures on the road as a professional stylist. She and Aaron are finally in sync, romantically. But for the rest of the crew – just as it’s all coming together, it’s all coming apart at the seams. Friendships are tested, relationships get rocky and the stakes are higher than ever. Will Zoey find her flow and make it to graduation or will she get thrown off course?”
Perkins will play the role of Kiela, a freshman journalism student who sparks Doug’s interest. She’s a resident of Hawkins Hall. I am just gonna say this – she better be careful, cause creeping in on Doug probably isn’t a good idea. Someone might get jealous.
Franklin will portray Des, who had taken a leave of absence, but returns to school and is a star on the track team.
