The thing with the Pretty Little Liars franchise is that it just ended, it feels as though they are trying to milk the franchise for all it is worth. But that being said, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin has started production.
The series stars Bailee Madison (Good Witch) as Imogen, Maia Reficco as Noa and Chandler Kinney (Lethal Weapon) as Tabby. Now two more have been added to the cast, giving us our five leads.
Zaria and Malia Pyles have joined the cast.
Zaria will be playing Faran – a poised and motivated ballerina who has big dreams to make it out of Millwood. Between ballet and “A” she’s got a lot of shit going on. Malia will be playing Minnie, the youngest “liar,” who spends most of her time online but can take on the dark side of Millwood, including A.
What’s the show about? Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago…as well as their own. In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood, but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe — in a brand-new town, with a new generation of Little Liars.
Are you excited for the show? What are your thoughts on rebooting Pretty Little Liars so soon?
