Oh, I love a day where I get to write a lot of things about love and exercise my bitchy bitter muscles. I know, I know – love is a good thing.
You know what is a good thing about love? That would be Love Life on HBO Max. The first season featured Anna Kendrick and I was addicted to it. It was written beautifully and the pacing is great.
The new season has a brand new cast of characters.
Steven Boyer, has joined the cast of the show as a recurring guest star. He will play an oblivious publisher at Marcus’s (William Jackson Harper) publishing house.
The second season of the series will focus on Marcus, who just came out of a long term relationship with his girlfriend. He thought she was the one and when the rug was pulled out from underneath him, he was devastated. But now he’s back in the dating game, looking for the love that he had thought that he had already found.
Starring in season two of the show are Jessica Williams, Punkie Johnson, and Chris Powell; and recurring guest stars Arian Moayed, Leslie Bibb, and John Earl Jelks. Season one stars will also make an appearance in the second season.
Keith David will serve as the narrator of season 2.
