I have to admit I am looking forward to Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis. Tom Hanks will always be one of my favorites and Austin Butler will always be one of my crushes.
Luhrmann has us even more excited because he released a look at the movie on Twitter while announcing the new premiere date.

The studio shifted the premiere date from June 3, 2022 to June 24, 2022.
Luhrmann wrote the script for Elvis with Craig Pearce and Sam Bromell.
The movie revolves around the veteran manager, Colonel Tom Parker and Elvis, who went from dirt-poor origins to become an icon. Parker and Elvis’s relationship was complex and spanned over 20 years.
The movie stars Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, Gary Clark Jr., Olivia DeJonge, Yola, Richard Roxburgh, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Luke Bracey, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Alton Mason.
