We’re here one more day to analyze Alex Rider 2×06 “Heist.” It’s a transitional episode, important to the plot but it doesn’t delve too deeply into the new dynamics. Time for a review!
Here we go!
As we said, in Alex Rider 2×06 “Heist,” there isn’t much more to comment on than what we saw in the episode. There is nothing wrong with this when you have to recap, simply summarizing what happened in the episode is enough, but when you have to do a review, like this one, it’s a bummer.
And Alex Rider 2×06 “Heist” is one of those episodes where you have no idea what to say because the episode already said everything. In general, it’s a good episode full of action, surprises, and a big bad that is already forming his master plan but…I can only comment on three things: Kyra, Tom and Alex’s team, the ending, and Mrs. Jones.
Let’s start with Kyra, Tom, and Alex. Tom realized that he couldn’t take Alex away from his mission so if he didn’t want to lose him, he had to join him and help him, so he gets into Alex’s new mission in Amsterdam.
With them, is K7 AKA Kyra and we love her so much! And if we thought that the team that Tom and Alex make is the best, it’s because we hadn’t seen them with Kyra. We like the way they complement each other, how Kyra brings her expertise as a hacker, Alex his expertise as an agent, and Tom brings his innocence. Separately they’re great but together they’re explosive.
Best team ever!
As for the end of Alex Rider 2×06 “Heist,” what?! What will happen now? Alex can’t die, I’m sure of that but…how will he get out of this mess? Maybe Gregorovich will arrive just in time and save him again…but that will put him in serious trouble with Damien…
And, as the last note, I love Mrs. Jones. As we mentioned in the review of episode 1, she was going to fight for what she believed was correct. Her boss may not agree but she knows that Alex is the only one who has a chance to stop what Damien is planning, so she doesn’t hesitate to follow her instincts and support Alex in Amsterdam. For things like this, she is the only one in MI6 that exists for us.
