Season 2 of The Witcher saw Geralt of Rivia taking on the responsibilities of guiding Ciri while protecting her. And right from the very start, we knew that it was going to be something spectacular. Because this is Geralt after all and he’s the grumpiest Witcher out there. And the transformation that would be necessary to have him become a father figure to Ciri would have to be one that was transformative but believable. And it was.
For the Ciri side of things, we were watching a girl transform into a young woman. Fortunately, in the grand scheme of things, she didn’t have to do it alone. Geralt was there for her. And as he learned to be a father, she learned that she wanted to be like him, from being a Witcher herself to just learning how to kick ass. In no time, they became a father/daughter duo who saw each other as the family they never knew they wanted but now had.
To celebrate that familial love between these two, we’ve put together a batch of TikToks centered on their bond on The Witcher. And if anything, we’re even more excited for what’s to come when this show returns for season 3 on Netflix.
The Witcher season 3 is available now on Netflix.
